£13.46 per hour (Base Rate), £17.19 per hour (Over 37.5 hours)

Shifts / Hours: Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00 fixed shift pattern

Job Description:

Quest Employment is hiring skilled Warehouse Operatives for a leading supply chain solutions company in Peterborough. This is an excellent chance to join a growing team with a purpose-built site and plenty of opportunities for career development.

Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be involved in varied tasks including:

• Quality Control & Returns: Calibrating equipment and inspecting finished products
• Picking: Using hand scanners for single and bulk orders
• Dispatch: Coordinating shipments and inventory checks
• Packing: Following packing procedures for customer orders
• Loading/Unloading: Handling goods for dispatch and storage
• Goods In/Out: Managing stock movement for customer orders and shipments
• General Upkeep: Keeping your area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards

What We’re Looking For:
Candidates should be flexible, dependable, and ready to start immediately. Essential skills include:

• Basic English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
• Manual dexterity and physical fitness (lifting/pushing ≈15kg)
• Basic computer literacy (preferred but not essential)
• Time management, accuracy, and ability to work in a team

Working Environment:
Standard warehouse setting. Safety boots and Hi-Vis vests are required; all other PPE is provided.
