£11.44 per hour for the first 48 hours weekly.
Overtime (over 48 hours weekly): £14.30 per hour (1.25x rate)

Shifts / Hours: Monday – Saturday, Day shifts from 7:00 am to finish (up to 10 hours)

Job Description:

About the Role:
Quest Employment is looking for dedicated and reliable Production Operatives to join our client’s team on a temporary, ongoing basis in the Chatteris area. Our client, a well-established grower and distributor of vegetable products, offers a welcoming work environment and fantastic growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Operative, you’ll play a vital role in supporting operations across various tasks, including:

• Trimming, packing, checking, and labelling vegetable products.
• Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of your work area.
• Following Health & Safety procedures diligently.
• Meeting daily productivity targets.

Flexibility is essential as duties may vary and include loading, sorting, grading, intake, boxing, and palletising.

Shift Details:

• Day shift: 7:00 am to finish (up to 10 hours).
• Flexibility required to meet operational demands.

Pay Rates:
Before 12-week probation:

• £11.44 per hour for the first 48 hours weekly.
• Overtime (over 48 hours weekly): £14.30 per hour (1.25x rate).

After 12-week probation:

• £11.44 per hour for the first 42.5 hours weekly.
• Overtime (over 42.5 hours weekly): £14.30 per hour (1.25x rate).

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking individuals with:

• A reliable, flexible approach and immediate availability.
• Physical fitness for tasks such as standing, lifting (up to 15kg), bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.
• Previous production experience (preferred but not essential).
• Own transport or a reliable way to travel to the site (preferred but not required).
