Quest Employment is excited to announce openings for Packing Operative roles on a temporary-ongoing basis in the Werrington area of Peterborough. We’re seeking dedicated individuals who are reliable, flexible, and ready to start.

About the Role:

As a Packing Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Packing, sorting, and dispatching cosmetic products.
  • Labeling, boxing, and palletising goods.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
  • Understanding and adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Working towards daily productivity targets.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Possess a basic to good level of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Be able to stand or walk for long periods.
  • Lift, bend, reach, and stretch as necessary.
  • Push and pull weights up to 15 kg.
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Have previous experience in a production environment (preferred but not essential).

Shifts and Salary:

Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 15:30; Friday, 06:30 - 12:30.
Salary Breakdown:

  • Base Rate: £11.45 per hour (up to 40 hours)
  • Overtime (Monday to Friday): £17.18 per hour (after 40 hours)
  • Saturday: £17.18 per hour
  • Sunday & Bank Holidays: £22.90 per hour
