Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to join their team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic professional who can manage the varied responsibilities of HR, administration & payroll within a busy and fast-paced environment.
The Role:
- Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, compliance with tax regulations, and record-keeping.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support business goals and ensure legal compliance.
- Provide advice and support to management and staff on HR-related matters, including employment law and best practices.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the smooth running of the office.
- Manage the purchase ledger, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and liaising with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Support the management team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as required.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and experience in managing payroll systems.
- Experience with purchase ledger management, including invoice processing and account reconciliation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
