Quest Employment is actively recruiting skilled Forklift Drivers Counter Balance or Reach + PPTA2 for temporary positions at our client's purpose-built, state-of-the-art site in Orton Southgate, Peterborough. This international leader in breakfast cereal manufacturing and distribution offers a vibrant workplace with growth opportunities for dependable and flexible individuals.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Orton Southgate, Peterborough
• Shift Pattern: 12-hour Panama shifts (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off), working across a 7-day operation with the majority of shifts scheduled during weekdays.
• Immediate Start: Begin as soon as possible!

Shift Pay Rates:

• Base Rate: £12.30 per hour
• Day Shift Including Allowance: £13.00 per hour
• Night Shift Including Allowance: £14.85 per hour
• Overtime (over 48 hours): £18.45 per hour (Shift allowance paid on base hours only)

Your Role: As a Forklift Operative, you’ll handle various assignments, including:

• Operating a Counter Balance or Reach + PPTA2 to load/unload lorries and containers.
• Packing, checking, labelling, and dispatching cereal products.
• Maintaining the warehouse and yard area.
• Following health and safety guidelines.
• Working towards daily productivity targets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certification: In-date Counter Balance or Reach + PPTA2 license (RTITB or ITSSAR).
• Physical Capability: Comfortable with lifting, bending, and manual handling of up to 15kg.
• Team Player: Cooperative and detail-oriented.
• Experience: Previous warehouse or production experience is preferred but not essential.
• Language Skills: Basic English for reading, speaking, and writing.
