Job Description:

Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance License & Driving License

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role within a metalworking environment, requiring experience in heavy lifting and a proactive approach to daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling and organizing metal products within the warehouse.
• Safely operating a counterbalance forklift (approximately 20% of the time).
• Loading and unloading goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Preparing and fulfilling customer orders, including building custom boxes for specific orders.
• Occasionally delivering products to customers, requiring a valid UK driving license.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid full counterbalance forklift license.
• Clean, full UK driving license.
• Physically fit, as the role can be labour-intensive and involve heavy lifting.
• Some carpentry skills are desirable for building customer boxes as required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or metalworking environment (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
• Includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break each day.
