Dunelm Group plc is a British home furnishings retailer operating throughout the uk. They boast 175 stores across the country along with a successful on line operation. Dunelm have a wide customer base across a range of proce tiers stocking over 50,000 products with the added option of manufacturing made to measure curtains and roman blinds.
Through our recent service to a logistics company who had been outsourced some of Dunelms logistics work, we were contacted by Dunelm directly to support their main DC in Stoke on Trent. The current agency supplier failed during their 2021 peak period and struggled to re-establish their ability to fulfil the DC requirements. We were invited on a trial basis to support the operation during the upcoming busy sale period.
Managed by our account management team, the local branch launched immediate recruitment campaigns across all platforms, with team members on site to support the onboarding, induction and engagement process.
Based on our successful delivery, and our impressive successful methods of recruitment across various channels delivering a speedy result, we are now a partner supplier to both of Dunelms central Distribution Centres, with an onsite team in place and continued recruitment planned in to support the peaks and troughs over the coming year.
